I'm a researcher working at the AI & Democracy Foundation. Previously, I received my PhD from the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Washington, advised by Amy Zhang in the Social Futures Lab. For more information, check out my CV.

Research Interests

My research interests lie at the intersection of human-computer interaction, AI governance, and social computing. Specifically, I'm interested in building tools and frameworks that enable individuals, groups, and broader society to steer AI systems towards their needs and values. Additionally, I like to explore interaction techniques and workflows for working with uncertainty and subjectivity in human judgments.
